Itinerary
Embark on a journey retracing Diocletian’s maritime path. Depart from the illustrious emperor’s palace and set your course towards Nečujam Bay on the island of Šolta, a mere 9 nautical miles from Split. Legends say that the descendants of the royal fish from Diocletian’s era still grace the waters, especially around Piskera Bay, the emperor’s favored fishing spot two millennia ago.
Choose to anchor mid-bay, secure a berth along the seafront, or dive straight into the azure waters, perhaps catching a glimpse of these royal fish. Let this regal start set the tone for your voyage.
After a refreshing sleep, set sail for Rogoznica. En route, skirt Šolta’s northern coast, aiming for the picturesque Blue Lagoon at Krnjasi Bay on Veliki Drvenik island. Its shallow, crystal-clear waters make for an ideal swim.
Next, anchor at Ražanj, a quaint fishing village, or head north to Marina Frapa in Rogoznica. Renowned for its superb amenities and lively club scene, it offers a blend of relaxation and entertainment. A stone’s throw away is the mystical Zmajevo Oko (Dragon’s Eye) lake, a must-visit steeped in local legends of love and prosperity.
Retrace historic maritime routes as you depart Rogoznica for the island of Žirje. Here, remnants of a fortress once belonging to the famed Illyrian Queen Teuta stand as a testament to times past. From these ancient ruins, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of neighboring islands. Set course for Stupica Vela Bay, about 15 nautical miles away. This bay, shielded from all but the southern winds, offers a sandy seabed for anchoring. Immerse yourself in the beauty of this semi-wild landscape.
Embrace the Ilyrian spirit and navigate the southern shores of Zirje, steering towards the renowned Kornati National Park. As you pass the vast expanse of Kurba Vela, be mindful of submerged rocks and shallows, particularly near Mali Garmenjak. The Kornati’s maze-like waters, rich with hidden dangers, are best navigated with the guidance of Kornati island’s Nautical Charts. Let your skipper manage the tricky paths while you bask in the region’s beauty.
Drift by Kameni Zakan and Ravni Zakan, pausing at their pristine swimming spots. For an overnight stay, consider ACI Marina Piskera to recharge or opt for the tranquil waters of Lavsa. Enhance your Kornati experience by dining at one of the local restaurants, where the ambiance, fresh cuisine, and welcoming locals will undoubtedly leave an imprint on your journey.
Begin your day weaving through the captivating Kornati islands. Remember, entrance to this national park requires a ticket, but it’s worth its weight in gold, akin to precious gems strewn by the divine. Engage in a silent contest with the dolphins, clouds, and seagulls, taking moments to dip into secluded bays or lose yourself in a book. Embrace the radiant hues of blue and green, letting the vistas rejuvenate your spirit.
Next, immerse yourself in the Telašćica Nature Park on Dugi Otok, a splendid neighbor to the Kornati National Park. Here, the Bay of Mir beckons with its unique saltwater lake, which is notably warmer and saltier than the surrounding sea. As dusk sets in, navigate back to Vrulja Bay, the largest inhabited area in the Kornati Archipelago. Anchor amidst the tranquil waters and venture to the renowned family restaurant nearby, famed for its delectable seafood offerings.
On the sixth day, why rest when there’s so much to see? An enthralling voyage awaits you as you chart a course towards the enchanting town of Primosten. Navigate through the Kornati Archipelago, making brief stops at the islands of Kakan and Kapri, perfect for a refreshing swim.
As you approach Primosten, the beauty will leave you spellbound. Built on a small island and now connected to the mainland, the old town, encircled by its ancient walls, gleams like a jewel, complementing the newer parts that stretch along the coastline. Dive into exploration; you’re in for a treat.
As you steer back to Split, we’ve lined up some parting treats. Stop by the idyllic bays on the islands of Drvenik and Šolta. Particularly, Maslinica on Šolta offers a glimpse into luxury with its Martinis Marchi marina and the opulent Heritage Hotel. Who knows, you might fancy a revisit. By evening, we await your arrival at our ACI marina Split. Ensure your boat’s fuelled up and then, let Split’s old town captivate you one last time.
We understand it’s hard to say goodbye to such an adventure. But every journey has its sunset. Let the memories of this trip fuel your dreams until we meet again next year! Cheers!

Things to know
Wearing trainers can help minimize the chance of stubbing your toe while moving about the boat. It’s also advisable to bring warm clothing and a windbreaker. However, try not to overpack, as excess gear can occupy space and may go unused during the voyage.
For sailing or boating trips, it’s best to pack your belongings in soft, collapsible bags like duffel bags or backpacks. Hard-sided luggage can be cumbersome and difficult to store in the tight spaces often found on boats. Additionally, a waterproof or water-resistant bag can be beneficial to protect your belongings from potential splashes or unexpected rain.
We supply bed linens and one towel for each guest. If you require extra towels, please inform us ahead of time, and we’ll arrange them for you. If you will be unable to pack beach towels, we offer rentals at 5 Eur per towel for the week.
The charter fee not only covers the use of the boat but also includes bed linens and kitchenware, as well as one roll of toilet paper and liquid soap per restroom. Extra costs you might encounter include the outboard engine, gennaker, marina parking, marina charges, fuel, and crew (unless stated otherwise on our website). Please refer to the conditions for sailing boats, motorboats, catamarans, mega yachts, and gulets.
Indeed, every yacht and its crew are comprehensively insured against any mishaps.
Parking within ACI Marina Split is limited and cannot be reserved. However, there’s an expansive parking area just above the marina that offers more spots. Additionally, there’s a nearby private parking option close to the marina which you can arrange through us.
